Lent
What is lent?
It is the 4 weeks before Easter. It is a time of time which is devoted to fasting. It starts on Ash Wednesday and finishes on Easter Saturday. Most people go for forty days without meat.
It is a time to break bad habits and learn what it’s like to be a vegetarian. It is also a time of prayer and devotion. Lent I practised in the catholic church.
